Set up in 2006, Microsoft Innovation Centre Singapore is part of the global network of 60 Microsoft Innovation Centres (MICs) set up with the primary objective of supporting and growing local software companies through partnerships with government, academia, and the industry.

Set up in 2006, Microsoft Innovation Centre Singapore is part of the global network of 60 Microsoft Innovation Centres (MICs) set up with the primary objective of supporting and growing local software companies through partnerships with government, academia, and the industry.
The Microsoft Innovation Centre focuses on enabling the Local Software Economy, where it enables and fosters innovation through three key pillars of Acceleration, namely Skills, Partnership and Innovation. Under Skills Acceleration, customers and partners will be provided with a comprehensive and consistent set of consulting services and programs for technical and business skills development. The Partnership Acceleration pillar will be segmented into industry clusters and include Software Quality Process certification and assessment, student led research projects as well as Proof-of-Concept projects and workshops.
The goal of MIC is to generate demonstrable evidence of our partnerships, MIC help ISVs strengthen business and technology offerings, and their partnership strategy, where the MIC becomes a hub where ISVs can engage other members of the economy, supporting commercial software companies bringing innovative solutions to market.
